For many workers who have had a workplace injury, their first question is: "How long am I going to miss work?" In a perfect world, everything would get put aside to make sure that they can recover from their injuries fully. However, bills, kids, and other living expenses combined with missed wages mean that most workers want to return to work as soon as possible. Returning to work after a workplace injury needs to be handled carefully: making sure that you've recovered fully needs to be the top priority while also preventing re-injury.

If you have suffered an injury, undergone certain types of surgery, or experience physical limitations due to aging or underlying health conditions, physical rehabilitation may be necessary to restore the body to optimal form and function. Without an effective treatment plan, the rehab process can take a lot longer than need be while also running the risk of less-than-optimal recovery.

Physical therapy is a critical component of a patient's recovery from an accident or injury. With the recent implementation of Patient Driven Payment Model(PDPM), many clinics are comparing whether contract or in-house therapy is the best. Using agency contracted therapists does have some benefits, but having a team of in-house therapists (not to be confused with 'at-home therapists') is can greatly benefit the patient and their experiences through recovery.



As an employer in Colorado, you are legally required to have worker's compensation insurance in case of a workplace injury. You must also designate at least four medical care providers or clinics that your workers can choose from if they are injured. Finding a trustworthy, experienced provider will ensure that your employees receive the best possible care, and choosing a provider that knows the ins-and-outs of the law and the special approach to care it requires is incredibly important.
